There seems to be a new bug where if you change a route to “cargo only” after establishing it, it does not register and will still book new flights with cargo enabled. However, new routes will follow “no cargo” if you indicate that before flying it.
I’m assuming you mean you change a route to “no cargo” or “no cargo and avoid bulk”.
As a workaround, if you change the start or end time of the flight and then save it, new flights created after that will follow the new cargo setting.
Just so I look in the right place: From where in the game are you updating the setting? The flight number directly? Or a page like inventory?
Not sure about the OP, but I made the change from the inventory page.

No. It doesn’t work from the inventory page. That’s why I had to do the workaround as well.

No problem. i wasn’t clear in my first response. Was just clarifying.
Created a ticket for it internally and will check it out as soon as I get around to it.
This should be fixed with the next maintenance update.
