when buying an aircraft I notice that planes have a noise rating as do the airports.

Can a plane with stage V rating fly into an airport with rating [color=#333333][font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=2] [/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=2]II? [/size][/font][/color]

Yes it can. The noise stage only restricts aircraft that have a number below indicated. In this case, it would restrict all aircraft less than noise stage II, so they can’t fly into the airport. All aircraft noise stage II and above can.
