Not Letting Me Book Return Y Class

Hi,

Wondering if someone can help me... On all my return flights it's not letting me have Y seats? Unsure where to look... Thanks.. New player.

Most likely your aircraft is not suitable for the short runway in Toronto. You should use a different aircraft.

Check the flight in the aircraft performance page.

Thanks for the reply Matt -- how would I be able to take off from Toronto with full seats but not land there?

Apparently the aircrafts engine are powerful enough for the short runway, but the breaks are not to slow it down enough.

You have to check the requirements for take off/landing (runway length) and compare with the airport.

you should switch to Tornto Pearson (YYZ)... Toronto City (YTZ) is a really small airport used mostly by Porter Airlines who use Dash 8 aircraft

I also agree that switching would be the best choice. I have previously operated an operation from BMA using Saabs and CRJs and currently I largely operate from LGA with mainline aircraft. It is possible to operate at short runway airports but it is pretty hard.

You should only consider flights to YTZ when you have a solid hub at YUL. As eky suggested, fly to Pearson (YYZ) first. The runway restrictions force you to use propeller planes. In real life YTZ is served by Porter to many destinations and Air Canada to YUL, all using DH4.

Using propeller planes will decrease your rating, especially because the in-game ground transportation to Pearson is modelled to be ludicrously cheap and fast (if you could go from downtown TO to Pearson for $30 in half an hour there would be no Porter Airlines).

I cancelled that game pretty quick! Going to wait for the Otto restart and use CS1/3 out of YYZ if it's new planes and A320 planes if they are used!
