I know I've seen this for other airlines...
I tried to do it, messing with it in the flight number's page, but to no success.
Can anyone help?
Very easy..... same way as with normal Scheduling....
Go to Route Management Page and select the route in question...
Select the flight number. Of course there must be one or more days per week, where this flight is not scheduled yet.
Select Scheduling and assign the flight number to the aircraft you wish to use on this day... Just like you did before with the original aircraft.
Note: If you use different aircraft types, the flight times may differ. In this case, the flights will arrive at different times at the destination. This may cause slot unavailability !
Stimue, but is this available if I want to have the same flight number but with different departure times?
e.g. FLT AB12345, days 1_3___7 at 0815 am, while _2_456_ at 0835 am ... is this possible with the way you suggested?
One flight number always has the same departure time. Only aircraft type and therefore arrival time may vary.
Hmm... so I must have seen for another enterprise different arrival times for the same FN and without noticing the same arrival times I concluded it is possible.
So it's impossible,
