That's what the rating for my old configs was the day after the Patch. Consequently I installed new cabins to my entire fleet.
As it took me two days to change the cabins, I could compare old and new. Amazingly, after a few days the old cabins recovered and scored excellent ratings (??)
Is there an explanation to this?

Attached is a screenshot of one of my last flights with the old cabin - booked in after the patch. All of those flights with old cabins were booked to 100%.
My bookings with the new cabins on this route currently have a load factor of around 20% in economy...
Not happy with the way the new patch is turning as the whole mess affected my connections thus WHERE HAVE MY PASSENGERS GONE IN JUST 1 DAY?????????? Im a year and half old airline with established hubs and traffic that seem to collapse whatever I do and believe me I really dont have the time at this moment to cope in detail so I only watch the deterioration of a 1 1/2 years hard work. I m so frustrated that in case nothing changes in my bookings I m quiting...

the image factors are only displayed for information - but they are not part of the rating, they are only changing in some way the image of the airline after the flight. That means, if you change to a new config, the image factors are changed to the new ones as they are pulled from the current status. But in the flight the old cabin stored and als the old images would effect your airlines image and not the old one. So if you would have kept the old cabin, it would still have been worse.

depends ... but the seat pitch and f/a are rated lousy ... so you may have better "old" seats, but your image will decrease.
I would think that I have had a good mentor over the years in Jan (Sobleair) to overcome this hick-up, but I must say that after spending the entire day to figure out where all the minions have gone, I am truly at a loss. I have had always good seating and service, max trolly dollies and made a decent profit.
Unlike some of the other players on Pearls we are only three people playing in Russia. And two of us nearly have a monopoly on many routes ex VKO, SVO or DME. So if I am now using so called better seats than before the patch, and have tweaked the prices like there is no tomorrow, how come there is still so many seat open in C?! If this was Santa's way to tell me that I have been a bad boy all year, then message well received. Next time send me a postcard. I am just glad there is no wife, kids, family, DRAGON-in-LAW or dogs who need my attention right now. Still, I should have cancelled the assistants vacation. One should not suffer alone! :)

Leisure plus is supposed to replace Eonomy not EcoPlus. For EcoPlus its Comfort Plus, however I found out that Confort Plus gives worse rating than EcoPlus so you have to use shorthoul recliner in Economy to get best rating i you are running a high class airline.
Seriously guys…the old system does not exist anymore. You wont get anywhere saying:
“I think this seat of the old system should be equal to this seat of the new system…oh no all my planes are empty. But it should be exactly this way!”
This will get you exactly nowhere.
Define your company strategy for what seat you want to use, when and where, and work with the prices! The seats are part of the overall product but not “the only one important factor” If you cannot attract passengers with an overall 4-Bar product, the problem is certainly somwhere else.

There is something I don´t understand, if we want to keep the same ratings in our flights, why do we have to have less seats in the same plane model and increase the number of flight attendants? Is it realistic to have an A320 with 120 seats just to be competitive? In real life they have around 180 seats… what do we do with the 60 that are missing?
Again, changes in AS are causing lots of trouble to many players, it would be nice some sort of brief guideline for the transition in the old servers from the old to new configuration. Also, I wanna know, why did they sack 30% of the attendants in the old configurations? Wasn´t that too violent? Why didn´t they warn about that?

Yes Forex I agree... no more "old seats" bitching, but under one condition: everybody is obliged to define new seats and convert! You cannot compete with Comfort Plus to get same rating as with old Economy seat, on short and medium haul flight, under same price and service those two would be about equal. But comfort plus will not give you the same amount of seats as old Economy. Not even Comfort seat will cut it. If you want to get to 99, you MUST use at lest comfort plus on SH/MH...and that's the problem. You have to use more space for less seats and charge the same as old economy. So unless EVERYONE has to convert (and converted) and redefine what seats and pricing strategy to use, there will STILL be bitching abut old seats and the old system.

I think it was Benjamin from AS team that posted about 2 or 3 days ago that the FA drop in old configs was a surprise even to them, it was something that was unforeseen and did not come up in testing. But when it was done, it was done and could not have been turned back.

It is Comfort Plus gives you the same rating as old Economy (on SH/MH). So Leisure plus is not a replacement of old Economy... it is something much less. And yes you need Recliner SH to get abut the same ratings as you did get with EcoPlus.

Which means we should go for an economically unsustainable configuration even on short haul flights. To get the same load factors on an A320 we should configure it with a 105Y/15C. No way

This is the best definition of the problem. Unless people read this sentence and understand it, there will be some Airlines going down.
Nope, as the old config has negative flight-attendant rating and seating-pitch rating, you have to reconfigure one day if you don't want your airline rating going down. And if you reconfigure you may choose smaller seats for less ticket price or larger seats for more ticket price. There is no one going down as all have the same seats and ratings.

Not sure if this was directed at me but if you choose new seats and as a result your SLF drops, because the price/product ratio is not good enough, you'll have to adjust the price or other things....if you dont react your SLF will stay low resulting in losses and ultimatly you'll go down....
With the variations of seats at our disposal it's likely we get a lot of different overall product ratings. Action from the player is necessary. I highly doubt only changing the seats will suffice, even in the long run.
