I've been playing the game for some time and IMO using your money to build up your own airline is much better than investing in the market. One risk you have is that the airline you invested in goes bust or the player simply leaves the game.

Yes it's annoying isn't it. It would help enormously if the message gave a hint what price range is acceptable.
