The big thread of opportunities!

Egypt is open on Templehof

Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi are all free on Xiguan!

South Korea is free on Aspern

Russia and Thailand have no domestic airline on Idlewild

New opportunities on Xiguan:

  • Russia
  • Saudi-Arabia

Tunisia on Aspern has no domestic airline

Russia on Aspern is completely free - I can also support newcomer

Egypt on Croydon is free. Good domestic market.

On Limatambo, some smaller opportunities:

  • Ukraine
  • Belarus
  • Tunisia
  • Bahrain
  • Israel
  • Costa Rica
  • Honduras (FI open)
  • Bolivia

EU:

  • Portugal**
  • Romania**
  • Estonia

Some interesting secondary-airport hub options (with domestic competitor in another hub) include Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; San Antonio, Texas; Northeast-Brazil; Bangkok-DMK or Phuket, Thailand; endless provincial hubs in Indonesia; the Indian province of Kerala; Bremen, Germany; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK; New Orleans; South-eastern France (the likes of Marseille); and non-central Colombia.

Make of them what you will. Only you know what is viable.
Remember it’s new ORS…
Additionally AGEX is at an all time low. You have been warned.

** = expect competition from either me  or others.

Both Peru and Venezuela are without domestic service on Idlewild. They both have strong domestic markets, and will work, even in this low AGEX season.

Lima: Some new openings (although small) in Hungary, and Stuttgart.
Portugal opening is now gone, partially thanks to me

Still a couple of openings in secondary cities.
AGEX at 759 today. Tons of airlines ceasing - good stream of used a/c (right now a ton of ATR 42 and 767-300F, and ~50 public CS3), as well as inevitable new opportunities will be had.
You can find many markets with inactive people only, as well, if that’s your style

Server Nicosia.

Russia is has only few small airlines. Huge opportunity for new players

largest Airline in Brazil just liquidated (Aspern)

Some more opportunities on Limatambo

  • Oman (new!)
  • Morocco (only airline there has publicly announced they’re phasing out in about 21 days from now).
  • If you want to come fight in the EU, there’s a couple of good hubs - Prague, for example, as well as South-eastern France (both Marseille and Nice are wide open), Linate, all of Poland, among others.
  • Israel
  • Estonia
  • Ukraine
  • Costa Rica
  • Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi.
  • A couple of good hubs open in India and the US, though some markets (such as Mumbai and ORD respectively) will be hard to schedule to/from

Tons of UM availability. Planes constantly dipping to 90% or below mkp… a few of them even lower.

UPDATE: Peruvian airline is gone. Nice domestic market.

Please explain to me how Bahrain of all countries is an opportunity. Like, yeah, technically yes, but then again would be every 6 bar airport without a home carrier.

Also with Abu Dhabi: Yes, it’s empty, but expect to be crushed by the DXB home carrier since they also have traffic rights in AUH.

Also worth a mention that Lima is on a historically low AGEX, so starting up right now is gonna be a massive task.

Well, I offer the options. It’s not like they have to take any of them.

I offer it as there is no home carrier in that airport. Of course, there’s also no airline in Tuvalu, but that isn’t so much an option. At least with Bahrain, someone could do precisely what you do in Doha. Of course, it’s not as demand-ful as it is for your hub O/D wise, but it is open to the same possibilities and roughly the same model if the airline does things right.
This is precisely how the dynamic works IRL, with Gulf operating a smaller-scale but similar model out of Bahrain compared to the ME3.

The Dubai airline you’re referring to runs no domestic flights, and I doubt they would be interested in running any parallel hub in an area where every other one of those have ground network. They didn’t try to before, EY went on his own…
You should know, you’re sucking up all that demand through DOH

Yeah, the AGEX is low. But then again, so is just about every long term world. If they wanted to start now and on ā€œeasy modeā€, Junkers started on the 25th.

AGEX on Lima is actually very nice considering the time of year.
750 is sheer luxury in summer. Have a look on Xiguan, we’re down to just over 640 there.

Peruvian domestic market is not really that big. Especially not with new ORS.
BUT: It is a decent test- or learning-market for newcomers.

Mexico and Peru are open on Limatambo. Both are decent domestic markets.

Huge Opportunity in Indonesia on Tempelhof!

My company of over 1000 aircraft just liquidated and I am not sure why, but if anyone is looking for an easy and fun opportunity, Indonesia is the place. Feel free to message me for advice. I have been playing in Tempelhof for 3 closing on 4 years now, so I also know the server also.

Largest airline in U.S in Meigs just liquidated.
