Time

Does the time of day that I fly matter? How long should it take for my flights to be booked. They have good seats and are cheaper than the competition. What is wrong? There is very generous o board service. The inaugural flight is in 9 hrs but 0%????? This is my first day in game.

Airline and Server please…

Time of the day does not matter in AS, with the exception of night curfew airports where the only limitation is you cannot arrive/depart during curfew.

I had a brief look on your airline, and you are making classic newbie mistakes:

No coordinated schedule.

AS is based on connecting passengers (O/D passengers are relevant only during game world start) so you need to start building connections using hub system.

I would suggest you read this first:

And then come up with any questions you might have.

Your traffic rights look OK.

Also you started today, so your flights will not start getting booked until during the day, if you activated "immediately", and not until tomorrow if you activated with "3 days delay".

Flights are booked at demand calculation times for each airport (demand times can be found under each airport overview) and you will get 3 booking waves on 3 different days for each flights (there are some exceptions based on flight arrival times when it can be just 2 booking waves but that is beyond the scope of this post). You may also get some passengers when ground-connected cities run their own demand calculation times. Also you will get passengers on X-B leg when having a suitable connection A-X and X-B, when A airport runs demand calculation and passengers connect on A-X-B flight.

I see but for example on one of my aircraft. I have TPA -OKC and the OKC TPA is full up but the TPA OKC is barely getting reservations.

Because it hasn't gone through demand calculation yet

You need to wait till tomorrow past the demand calculation time to see some meaningful bookings (if your rating for the flight is good enough).

Also, you established your airline 2.30 am UTC, you leased used aircraft from the market, so you got the planes at the earliest at 3.30 am UTC, but at 2.51 am UTC you write that you do not have bookings. Even if you had planes at that time, the schedule must have just been activated minutes before your post. This is not like you activate the schedule and you get planes full. This is a simulation that requires a lot of patience, that runs in real time. A real airline would not upload a new route into GDS and have the bookings on it minutes after. Same happens in AS. Things take its time.

So as far as TPA-OKC flight and "very little bookings"  - again, I will repeat, please read what I wrote above, apparently you have not read what I wrote.

So I repeat it again:

Flights are booked at demand calculation times for each airport (demand times can be found under each airport overview)

2015-04-07 02:20 UTC FloriFly has been founded in Tampa.

Airport: Tampa (TPA)
Demand calculation 02:08:21 UTC

You have activated schedule immediately, your flight departs to OKC at 13:00 UTC, it will go through its first demand calculation tomorrow, 2015-04-08 at 02:20 am UTC.

The bookings you see at TPA - OKC flight are the ones generated from cities connected by ground network, most likely Clearwater, FL which had its demand calculation at 07:42 am UTC.

PLEASE read the tutorial blog made by yukawa. And if you do not pay attention to what is said/written, its is very difficult to help.

ThanksĀ

you're welcome.

Again, this needs patience - playwise and learning wise.
