Hello community ! I’m on the 8 reset today ! I don’t know where to start , to not face so much competition , I would like if you recommend any airports to start , preferably 89+ free slots , not Europe !
On Yeouido you have
Santiago de Chile - 90% slots - 1 small start up - huge potential in a large market - I once had an airline with over 750 planes in Chile a good while ago, good cargo market as well, this would be my personal recommendation
Cairo - 80% slots - 2 small start ups - big domestic demand - could be a fun project
Kuwait - 79% slots, no domestic airline - can make a hub connecting Europe and Asia - will require some patience to work
Muskat - 80% slots , 1 small start up airline - very similar to Kuwait
Qatar - 55% slots, no domestic airline - slots are slightly limited due to inbound flights from other countries and cargo airlines - but you can still build a decent airline there with 10 bar demand
Lima - 90% slots, similar to Santiago de Chile - lots of demand
Other options -
Panama City at 80% slots and no competition
Abu Dhabi/UAE - 67% , one inactive airline however the Emirates is a very difficult place to start in established servers
I started with 5 CRJ 1000 NEXT GEN ER in Yangon RGN MYANMAR , I hope will be fine

Before joining a world, I look at a table with many options of areas to start, that Have decent demand, can offer decent network flexibility, and strategic location. Let’s not forget that which airport is good for you depends on what kind of airline you want to operate, Local, Regional or international? P2P or Hub and Spokes? Ultra Low cost, Low cost, Average, Premium or outright luxury? Don’t forget to avoid already well served areas
