Another short week has passed. Which might be the new normal for a while. In my devlog for week 31 I wrote the following:
And well…that’s now. I’ve said before that a proper update on the general state of the game, the company and in extension myself will follow soon. So for the time being I just want to leave it at “life is complicated and time a limited resource”. But before you worry: Nobody’s dying, all relationships are intact
Anyway, back to business: I announced last week that both account management backend and the game itself would receive an update to roll out the language setting updates I discussed in the same issue of the devlog. But since life happened and I ran into a few technical roadblocks, this had to be postponed (didn’t want to release on a Friday). That said, the changes are done and ready, so I’ll most likely bundle the update with today’s relaunch of Bleriot.
If nothing unexpected happens, this week should be a fairly regular one again. But there is a fairly long list of topics to be dealt with right now, so not sure whether and for how long I’ll be able to continue working on the DS integration. For example, the imminent entry into service of the A321XLR raised a few internal questions about performance data and formulas again which I might have to look into again. You might remember that I have done some research into this a while ago but had to switch to other topics in the meantime. The subject wasn’t (and officially isn’t) part of my near-term development plans, but we’ll see.
