Indo went on shopping spree to Toulouse! Today the CEO was casually walking through the beautiful city of Toulouse and decided it would be nice if he went home with some souvenirs of his vacation. He decided to drop in to the Airbus headquarters and signed firm orders for 51 planes from the A320 family in order to even off the fleet of Indo to 220 A320NEOs (10 leased out) and 35 A319s (15 leased out). The order, worth around 3 billion dollars at list prices includes:

  • 40 A320NEO Light, which will be used for expansion
  • 4 A320NEO Heavy, which will be used for expansion into longer range markets
  • 7 A319 SHARP, used as replacement for older A319Es and for expansion into rural areas

In addition to this order the CEO earlier signed a Letter of intent for 500 A321NEO which will be firmed in batches of 50 with the first batch already under delivery, with 15 aircraft remaining to be delivered. In order to not block the order book for two tears the whole order for 500 wont be firmed at ones. This order is for the Average age of the Indo fleet to always be kept under 2 years (currently 1.7 years).

In addition to these new orders the Indo fleet will be rounded off to contain as few aircraft models as possible to bring cost savings in maintenance commonality which in turn will make us more profit. This means that the 10 A319E Medium and 6 A320NEO Medium will leave us in order to homogenise the fleet. All remaining A319E have been leased out to American to continue Global group service across the pacific.

It is sad day at Indo. The last of the 50 A321 without winglets just got it´s contract cancelled. This fleet will during the coming week undergo debranding stripping the aircraft of anything ever associated with Indo, as well as receiving a full white livery and removal of cabin, carpet and side walls. They will all have vacated Indonesia during the coming 7 days with the last flight for Indo operated on the 10th of July from Surabaya to Jakarta. This fleet that ones consisted of over 100 planes has been a vital part of the fleets of both Indo and Aces Air. The two where competing each other for a long time but in the end Indo won and in order to cope with the increase in passengers Indo leased some of Aces former planes and bought up the remaining assets from the defunct company. The management has decided that the time has come to have the most modern large fleet in the world and most of these planes where over 3 years old not able to offer the best service in the world. They also burned more fuel which is against Indo guidelines where we will always operate the most efficient aircraft. The A320CEOs where retired not that long ago an now comes the time of the A321 (without winglets).

Indo_A321.png

These will be replaced by A321E and A321NEO machines of which Indo currently has 200 of. All crew will be transferred o these other planes and none will be laid off. The A321NEOs will add capacity over the A321CEO due to the innovative Space Flex cabin design. The new aircraft are also much more quiet and greener to the environment. While the CEo wont specifically be missing the A321 without winglets he knows what this aircraft represents to Indonesia having been their backbone in air travel with hundreds of millions of Indonesians having flown on this aircraft and now sadly it wont fly in Indonesia anymore. This aircraft made up the backbone of both Indo and Aces two very beloved airlines by the Indonesians but hated by each other. Rest in peace A321 without winglets!

IndoSky just firmed it´s 50th Airbus A380 aircraft for our 1st birthday. In one year the Global group has expanded to over 1000 new aircraft (all jet except for 13 large props), we operate airlines in 12 countries and flying to alot more. The most important aspect is that we are finally a "Global Group" operating entities on all Continents around the globe from the shores of Argentina to the cities of America to the mountains of Pakistan. This is what we consider a Global Group. During this year we have made many, many billions and invested a sizeable percent to charity mainly to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society as well as free marketing onboard all our aircraft. Some aircraft carry a large Sea Shepherd livery while some just have a brochure in the seat pocket. Our support for Sea Shepherd and our campaigns has caused people to hate us especially after flying over the whole Mainlands of Japan with Sea Shepherd painted aircraft. Since then our load factors to Japan have dropped significantly but we dont care a bit. The marine balance needs to exist for the best of our own species! Thereby this 50th A380 which probably is the last ever A380-800 delivered from Airbus to any customer is wearing the full Sea Shepherd livery.

Sea_Shepard_A380.png

We dont any longer operate one or two A380s like the other airlines just for the sake of bragging we operate a large consistent fleet of A380s! We operate 2/3 of all A380s ever built. These planes are ideal of the congestion in airports across Asia and our customers could not love them more. This is why Jakarta is called "A380 heaven".

We see the future leading up to a franchise partner flying the regional market of Indonesia which we are currently in talks with as well as future Global expansion and expansion with American Sky to become one of America´s top 5 airlines. We currently plan on keeping our Unity membership but the future is uncertain. For a new year with equal success!

Today the CEO of Indo Mr. Christian Pålsson firmed the second batch of A321NEO Aircraft. This batch contains of 56 machines valued at an eye watering 4,000,000,000AS$ with hopefully a further 37 to be leased from Tao´s orders. Tao Aviation Services and Shark Leasing are Global Groups´s official external leasing companies. They both have our full trust and we love working with them (especially when we get good deals). Global Group has an even more special relation with Shark Leasing as the companies launch customer and first and biggest customer. The CEO said in the weekly Pre Week Press Conference "We have been with Shark Leasing since the very first beginning we are the reason they are here now. We where present at their very first purchase from Boeing for 10 A320Es which we still operate within the Global Group. The CEO of Global was himself alongside the CEOs of Shark Leasing and Airbus signing that contract.

On another note Malaysian today received it´s second 767-400ER and two new new Boeing 737-8MAX have been ordered to supplement our Malaysian operations.

As the worlds second largest A320 family operator, Global Group is happy to announce a cabin modernisation to our enormous A320 family fleet together with our favorite manufacturer Airbus! The modernisation will involve our fleet of over 700 A320 family aircraft which all will have the brand new Airspace by Airbus interior installed which is a complete redesign of the cabin of these machines. All future deliveries will already have this cabin installed by Airbus. The modernisation is expected to cost half a billion dollars and go on throughout the year in our hangar facilities in Jakarta, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur, Denpasar, New York La Guardia, Las Vegas, Seattle and Orlando. Through the modernisation these facilities will work closely with Airbus staff to insure ideal execution of the modernisation. In total over 50 Airbus staff members have relocated to these Global Group facilities around the world to guide Global Maintenance staff on these delicate modernisations. Global Maintenance which provides most of the maintenance to the Global Group will be responsible for these modernisation. These 8 facilities will also offer this modernisation to other Unity and partner airlines. So far only Global Maintenance and Airbus themselves have the authorisation to carry out these cabin modernisations. The modernisation is expected to take under a week per aircraft and it will be carried out next to standard checks. This will be the biggest investment in cabins ever made by the Global Group.

The CEO himself seems very enthusiastic on the project stating that "This is the best cabin in the world" and "Airspace by Airbus will finally allow the Global Group to offer the fantastic comfort and contemporary feel that we are striving for". Sitback and feast your eyes on the teaser on how the entire Global Group fleet will look by the end of the year:

Indo is finally trough the recession with bright skies ahead. We are delighted to announce that not ones declared a loss, which we see as a great success! We have sadly have been under the 50 million mark in weekly profits, we have deferred some orders, emergency replacement of older planes (sorry Pleurotides) and not up scaled a couple of routes. During the worst times when AGEX was in the 690s we had to immediately halt all expansion. To celebrate Indo´s and Global´s exit from the biggest recession in history a we celebrated brighter skies ahead by hosting a special event or the worlds leading leaders and press and watching 5 new A380s being added to our network, aircraft that previously have been acquired but have been grounded. These five beasts took off simultaneously at our 5 various hubs (Jakarta, Surabaya, Denpassar, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore), all 5 takeoffs were shown live at the special event

Although the CEO declined interviews he remarked being externally happy for brighter times, he also explained the Global model better, "Our overall plan is making 10 billion during bright times and not change much for the recessions where we will always make a profit but much less of it. We dont change so that we can be ready for new good times coming." Our CEO further celebrated by retiring 13 more A321CEOs (replaced by A321NEO) to show our commitment to the environment and the future. The Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres stated "No airline on this planet is as committed top the environment as the Global Group, they are setting a benchmark for how the world should look. For them nothing except for the absolutely newest and best is acceptable".

A brand new class has been launched! The Global ECSTASY Class! ECSTASY is what previously has been called Business Class across Indo, Malaysian, American and CBE! Did you forget to mention that loads of the airlines don't actually fly routes or have planes but still love the Airline promo though

Did you forget to mention that loads of the airlines don't actually fly routes or have planes but still love the Airline promo though

Did you forget the countless times you have said something with the sole purpose to annoy others?

Did you forget the countless times you have said something with the sole purpose to annoy others?

Relax, I'm not trying to antagonise you here, just merely stating a point

Unfortunately no one at TAO Aviation Services, which is a major aircraft leasing company, was able or willing to confirm talks with CBE (CEO of IndoSky), which leases 45 A320NEO series aircraft from T.A.S. already, about a follow-up order. However analysts expect an order for up to 50 new A321NEOS in the following weeks.

Indo_Logo.png

We where unable to get any word out of the CEO regarding a A321NEO deal with our beloved lessor T.A.S except for the usual "I will take any A321NEO I can find for a reasonable price". It currently looks like Indo is in great need for A321NEOs as we are in the process of retiring our A321CEO fleet which should be gone by the end of the year. Due to this we firmed a further 59 planes directly from Airbus.

Today was a busy day for Indo. Not just did we launch proper long haul service with a brand new product and plane the A350, but we also reorganised our currently 3 terminals used.

To start with we just acquired two ultra modern A350XWB machines which have launched long haul service to London, Paris and Amsterdam but also relaunched service to Istanbul and Johannesburg. These machines are configured with 35 wider full bed seats and 189 plus seats. If our experiment is successful a potential of 100 A350s will join out fleet in the coming time.

With this deal we have reorganised our three Terminals. We currently have exclusive rights for Terminal 2, 3 and Global Plaza (T12), we control the operations at these three terminals but only own Global Plaza. All our allies fly from Terminal 2 as 3 and 12 are exclusive for Indo. Non Indo allies fly solely from Terminal 1. We have reorganised all of our A380 operations and most domestic operations to Terminal 3 while most International operations fly from T2 together with the International flights of our allies. There is also the Global Plaza which houses all our long haul operations. Global Plaza is more as a lounge for relaxation than a conventional Terminal. With it´s low capacity it can truly offer a pleasurable experience with complete staff dedication. There is a shuttle service which runs between Terminal 2, 3 and Global Plaza to ease you connection. We welcome you to Jakarta to experience our first class airport experience together with Indo or her allies.

Wow, I would definitely love to experience the Global Plaza, maybe with some cheese and wine :P .

Good luck with your long haul flights, hope you can make it, and also with the A350s, it's a plane that I really enjoy the concept, although I have never flown on one of these.

In the Global Plaza you won't just get some cheese and wine but lots of it xD.

Indo_Logo.png

To celebrate the legendary date 11/11 Global Group just announced at 350 million dollar investment in IndoSky. This investment includes a firm order directly with Airbus for 30 brand new A350XWBs and a 20 gate terminal extension to the Global Plaza increasing the capacity to 6 million passengers per year in our state of the art boutique terminal making long haul connections seamless. Our overall goal is being the main connecting airline of Oceania to the world. A combination of state of the art A350s, A380s and A320s serve 20 Oceania destinations daily allowing less than 2 hour connections to Asia, Africa, Europe and beyond. As well as connections to our large domestic and regional network. The CEO said "We feel it is necessary to increase the number of A350s which offer almost the same economics per seat as our A320 fleet while offering substantially more capacity which is exactly what we need for our ever growing business, thanks to Airbus for making this fantastic aircraft".

We also took the opportunity to release our market forcast for IndoSky for the coming year. Next year we will need:

  • 100 Very Large Aircraft (A380)
  • 100 Large wide body aircraft (A350)
  • 300 Large single Aisle (A321NEO)
  • 250 Medium Single Aisle (A320NEO)
  • 20 Small Single Aisle (A319)
  • 230 Feeder and Regional operated by franchises (Cseries and CRJ)

For a total of 1000 planes almost doubling our current fleet.

Then Indo shall accept Interlining Request from the major Iranian Airline, IranJet. Since people from Indonesia love old planes, they will really love our airline transfers to nearly every place in Iran :) We also provide special transfer area for passengers from your Indo Airline. Just look at our lounge, isn't

it of extraordinary beauty?

We just accepted the IL offer. The CEO was made unaware of it until now as our network manager refused telling about it due to his strong dislike for Iran (partially related to the Yemen conflict). Anyways he has been dealt with in particular Indo fashion but this time he wasn't dropped off in the Papua jungle but the Iranian dessert on our first flight to Tehran. Next time message the CEO directly to make him aware of the request. Global Group has a particularly strong relationship to IranJet as in the first days of CBE Airways it was the only large international airline accepting an Interlining contract, we cant be more thankful for the trust placed in us. The CEO remarked "I am sure our passengers will have a fantastic time when flying and connecting with IranJet, they will certainly be surprised when they arrive at the Global Plaza and see the majestic terminal".

... but the Iranian dessert on our first flight to Tehran...

IranJet is so proud of being accepted by IndoSky. The CEO of IranJet was flying with his private jet to Halim. Then he was using IndoSky shuttle. The CEO made remarks about his surpriseness, that every passenger had a seat in a very modern bus from unknown origin. Arrived at Soekarno Hatta, the CEO of IranJet was immediately welcomed by a representative of IndoSky. For a fact, the CEO of IranJet outlined in a report, that he was very satisfied of the lightning inside GlobalPlaza. However, the leather sofas and chairs did not fulfill the expectations: The CEO pointed out, that it was indeed a very modern design, but where is the love and passion? In Merhabad, IranJet is using lovely handmade small crochet table- and chairclothes, which shall show the guests and passengers the passion and love for them by the company. The CEO also pointed out, that he missed Personal Computers, also commonly known as 'PC's' with internet connection (must be ISDN speed, not analog speed) at GlobalPlaza equipped with very modern Windows 95, especially desired by elderly people. The CEO of IranJet sent more pictures of IranJet's lounge at Merhabad in order to be helpful and realize improvements at GlobalPlaza.

Our network manager is surely experiencing a very tasteful experience right now, the Bedouins will certainly make sure of that.
