Aha. Thanks Rainer, I have the UAB account specifically for the purpose of investigating. It is not illegal but with that amount of planes and those two players, I have also started too dislike this. I will just differentiate this with my latest airline which is the only one where I am using discounts.
I have 11 A320NEOs leased at 20% for a period of three months which I got from a lessor who I otherwise lease more than half of his inventory of aircraft making me his biggest customer. I have so far payed him atleast one billion dollars from all the other leases. And after three months from the contract was signed it will be re negotiated to about 80%. I have three A320Es at 30% from an other lessor who I also lease hundreds of aircrafts from which will also be returned within three months. Last but not least I have three 737-600s which where offered by an alliance partner at 40%. That is all I have, unlike this specific case where the team member is having almost all his fleet comprised of aircraft which are surely leased at 10%. I understand that a newbie would have that but I would not think this player is a newbie. In a way this shows that one is not an experienced player. Personally I have more self pride and having 80 planes leased at 10% is just for newbies.
Elson and Firt, unfortunately for your view, it is also how it works in real life. Elson you are familiar with David Neeleman. If Neeleman decides to start airline in Peru, he will be in a completely different, much better, position than if I decide to do the same thing. Investors, lessors, even government will bent over backwards to accommodate his venture, while I will encounter all doors shut or almost shut. That's life. And supposedly we all have same opportunities in life... Or... Do we? Same here. So just get over it.
I've only just started playing this game before Christmas last year and the politics of it all are just staggering!!
I certainly do not wish to offend anyone because in a free and fair democratic world, everyone should be entitled to their opinion. However, there is a caveat to my statement. You say that in real life, Neeleman would have the red carpet put out for him regarding any new venture whereas somebody else's new venture might struggle to get any attention. This may well be the case in "real life" but we are talking about a game here - not real life.
I agree that the game rules should be as realistic as possible in terms of how routes are permitted, pax generated, profits made etc. etc. - I have absolutely no problem with that. In fact I think that's absolutely the way it should be. But at the end of the day, it is a game and nothing else and so there should be completely equality between all players in terms of how things are made possible and that "underhand" tactics as are seen everyday in the real world, should have no place in a game.
I agree that this kind of behaviour does not constitute an "illegal" action per se. The rules do not specifically say you cannot do this. However, some people - like myself - would look at the reason why a rule was put in place, rather than just the rule itself. I would imagine (but cannot obviously say for sure), that the rule was created to try and avoid this kind of situation from arising but a way has been found to circumvent it.
So whilst the rule is not being broken and the actions are therefore not deemed illegal, I do believe that they go against the reason why the rule exists, they go against the "spirit of the game" and so for that reason alone, I believe that it is morally unacceptable and that the creators of the game should try to find a way of preventing this action from taking place.
But this is just a personal opinion - as in real life, some will agree and some will not.

You still have not answered my question - is this kind of transaction (cheap lease out) ok if done by alliance members but different if done by other players?
it is a clear case of collusion and cheating. spezialist gets an advantage over other players, none of the newbies will ever obtain this.
airlines are closed for insignifant reasons and this shall prevail?
what pisses me off extremely is the fact that it is a conspiration between an AS team member and the pranced #1 voice of the UAB. this has to have consequences. from both, AS team and UAB all we players would expect high moral integrity and exemplary fair play.
it is time that AS interferes here.
we dont want AS team members and UAB members behaving like that. it is just dirty play, nothing else.

Highscore told you that that policy would not change and you are soooo upset so you now found a way to scream damnation about his business deals. CBE, it is not illegal? when you read the rules of airlinesim they state clearly:
- §1.4 not all rules can be defined hardcoded; only because the game allows a certain behaviour pattern it does not mean that this behaviour pattern
complies with the rules
- §1.5 all players should act sincere and honest
- &3.1 all players can demand fair competition
the behaviour of spezialist and highscore violates these clauses clearly and is a slap into the face of all fair and honest players.
not a second it can be accepted that they try to hide behind formal arguments like "why can't i lease cheap to my friend" and so on.
the magnitude of the value transferred from highscore to spezialist is too massive. would it have been 5 aircrafts nobody had noticed it. but this is a bad joke only.
as you are also in the UAB, please do something against such fraud. it is a shame that "officials" from team and uab are involved.
No Imperator Nero it does not violate anything. It has been stated by SK and support in the past that cheap leases are allowed and fine. Stop beating the dead horse here, poor horse he’s already dead and you keep on punching. The small airplanes between major airports rule will not change! You have an agenda here and everybody sees that.
Spezialist is (as far as i know) working for AS itself and is resposnsible for the support.
There are other people responsible for AS Support as well. So there's no problem regarding neutrality, as the case can be handed over to someone else when necessary.
i hope so spezialist, it is a pity that you colluded in such a way with highscore, really disappointing. you could have started this airline like anybody else. would just have taken a few weeks longer ...
in order to keep your reputation i can only recommend you to restart your airline. i would even help you to develop it (as we play in the same world and the same country), but not with transfer of "values".
as an as member you should consider the example you give to others.
if the as team lets path this ... why should other players stay fair then?
Everybody can start an airline without any private leasing contracts, sure. And if everybody would be doing it like that, I'd be more than happy. I personally would prefer a much more regulated game than we currently have - where the actual business administration part of your own airline becomes a much more deciding factor than accumulated capital.There'd have to be no private leasings or not stock market for me... And the opinions will differ greatly if that'd be a better or worse kind of gameplay. But the game design we currently have is just the way it is - and we're all in this situation together, playing the game as its game mechanics dictate. Of course anybody's free not to use some possibilities if he doesn't want to - but let me ask: Have you ever criticized your alliance members for using the same possibilities that you're criticizing now?
What do I need to do to receive the same benefit on my gameworlds?
The are some threads on this forum specifically offering leases on some game worlds. If you'd like to join Idlewild, there'll be several people that can offer planes. I myself do permanently have some cheap planes on offer for anybody.
