This has gotten out of hand. I agree with both sides. I made a post yesterday but deleted it. Yes, leasing planes out between companies does happen in the real world, there are always bigger companies looking out for each other, as they say its who you know and all that.
However 94 planes worth nearly 200million in 18 days is a kick in the teeth when a newish player will take up to 6 months minimum (thats if they get it the profit to do it) to even have 50 planes of the same calibre. What ever anyone says, whoever got those 94 planes definitely got an advantage over most players and to play it down as “its allowed” doesnt change that fact. If it was 15-20 planes, or a few planes, thats fine. But 94? 94??? No that is clear collusion and favouritism to whoever started that airline up. You cannot kid anyone , there was a conversation between these two CEOs that said something like “Mate give us a load of planes, lets destroy this market” “yeah sure lad, Ill give you all I can for nothing!!! interline with me and we will lead this game world!”. The fact its two “staff members”? (UAB and AS? I am not sure what they mean) does lead me to believe that these are are good mates and having some fun. I doubt who gave those 94 planes away was really doing it to make money for his own airline nor do I suspect they would give a newbie like me 94 planes straight away. It’s common sense.
That said however! Its allowed and it does happen in real life. Business is not meant to be easy. In fact if AS lost this side of the game it would take out a massive realism aspect that I enjoy. Personally I do not mind what has happened here, but please call it what it is, there was two people who knew each other and one gave a lot of planes to the other for nothing. If it happens to you in your game world, where another airline sets up with a massive fleet instantly, dont rage, battle them or work with them! or work with their main competitors. Don’t bitch and moan!

If you report a team member then it gets handled by a different team member. If it makes it to UAB (highly doubtful) then the UAB member will not be able to take part
You may have noted that I am not team member and not working for AS. Hence I will not judge on that case as long as it does not come in front of UAB. Also in this case, as involved player, I would not judge.
I'm sure AS Support will be thrilled to answer another report, after the report by ImperatorNero/viennabert had been cleared...
It's been stated by various people here that there's nothing wrong with private leasing contracts and others have been using it as well. Your report won't change anything about that. There's no "cler decision" to be made, when it's already as clear as it could be.

Nothing will come of it. This is a situation that should not be allowed to happen in the future. However you will not see a change, as members of the UAB, the AS team, or the "inner circle" that can't be on the UAB because of being caught cheating benefit from it. Their only concern is gameplay that negatively effects them.
After all, if CBE can't get NEOs for 20%, how can he brag to us about his quick growth and high profit margins?

I am sorry it you are offended, but sometimes the truth hurts. This case reinforces my opinion of the circle. As I already pointed out, several have tried to defend the cheap leases here, as that is how it happens in "real life". Those same individuals were against loosing the large regional jet slot restrictions, even after shown real life examples of those flights. Hypocritical at best, down right shady at worst.
