Routemap

http://www.asroutemap.info/ is currently down?

Yep, it's been down since yesterday evening... I've heard it's a server issue, I'm sure Matth is working on getting it back up as soon as he can.

I've to admit, I've gotten so used to using it - it really makes a difference when it's missing. :/

Seems to be a heavier problem? Hopefully it is back soon - for sure you check the importance of a tool, when it is missing!

It works...

I also had an issue. Some error was displayed. If you re-enter http://www.asroutemap.info/ into your browser, things should be back to normal. At least that worked for me after my bookmarks did not work anymore.

Can confirm, this worked for me too.

1. the location for chofu airport is incorrect

2. airport HIW have been removed from AS but the map still have this airport

In regards to HIW/RJBH (Hiroshima West), it still exists on older servers.

Tokyo-Chofu (AS IATA: COF, Real IATA: N/A) appears in the correct spot on Croydon-Sakura Air's ASRouteMap.  If COF/RJTF is appearing somewhere in Florida for your airline, then the problem is the same as what appears on page 8 of this thread.

1. Where should Chofu airport be instead? On my map the marker sits right on top of the runway on the satellite map.

2. As Kenmuir wrote, HIW still exists on various worlds. For simplicity reasons, I do not keep track of all airports on all different worlds.

ah, i see

Why is the ANC-based holding get centered on OGG?

Why is the ANC-based holding get centered on OGG?

Maybe because it has no departures from ANC?

The center of the map is automatically based on the hub with the most destinations

It seems to be unavailable, isn’t it?

It’s working for me here

Jep, nvm it works again.

I recently was wondering how it would be possible to visualize the hub waves in a better way and started to experiment with some ideas.

Once I had a working solution in Excel I wasn't happy yet. I wanted to bring that directly to the web so that everybody could use this. Surprisingly, creating charts isn't that difficult after all and that's why I could add yet another feature to the AS Route Map site.

Display your Route Map as always. To see how well you have setup your hub waves, make sure you display your destinations. Now clicking on any destination does not take you to the airport in AS anymore, but it will open a new window with the chart of your hub waves. You might have to clear the cache of your browser or press F5. It should look something like this below.

Let me know what you think or if you have any problems.

Thank you. Very helpful!

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to the game and found this AS route map which I find amazing! I was wondering if there is a way to display all AS flights, in kind of a "flightradar24" way. If it exists, or if someone creating it? If this has been discussed already then apologies for missing it and re-raising the question.

Thanks in advance,

M

No, this does not exist. It would probably be possible, though when you look at a bigger airline, you will already see (too) many aircraft and it would probably just flood the whole map.
